From 2010 to 2020, the competition was held only from March 1 to April 20. From 2021, the competition is held in three seasons (spring, summer and autumn seasons).

The competition is held annually. Applications are accepted 365 days a year, from January 1, 2021. The competitors selects one of three seasons and sends an application.

MASTERS FINAL
Contestants, laureates of the first degree who scored the most points in their nominations (in all three seasons) participate in the Masters Final.

NOMINATIONS
Piano, Piano Ensemble, Bayan / Accordion
Duet (two different instruments), chamber ensemble, orchestra, choir
Wind instruments (soloists, duets, ensembles): flute, bassoon, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, tuba, French horn & percussion instruments
Stringed instruments (soloists, duets, ensembles): double bass, cello, viola, violin
Stringed and plucked instruments (soloists, duets, ensembles): guitar, harp, national instruments (domra, balalaika, cymbals, bandura, etc.)
Vocals (soloists, duets, ensembles): academic, folk and pop-jazz
